Isco has made it clear that he is happy to play anywhere for Real Madrid after scoring in Saturday’s 3-1 win against Las Palmas.
Reports over the past week had suggested that the midfielder was considering his Los Blancos future, but he returned to the starting line-up against the new boys and broke the deadlock inside four minutes.
“We entered the game with much conviction and scored two early goals,” he said after the game.
“We played the game very much in our favour, although it was a shame we conceded a goal.
“We have to continue this upward trend. We’re happy for the three points and staying in the lead, which is important.
“We did our homework and now it’s [our rivals’] turn. We’ve put some pressure on them and we hope to stay top.
“I’m comfortable anywhere, as long as it’s on the pitch. I’ll continue working hard and fighting to make it difficult for the Coach.”
