Line-ups: Lyon-Valencia

Alvaro Negredo leads the Valencia line against Lyon in what could be considered a must-win game for Nuno Santo’s charges.

Los Che were beaten by Zenit St Petersburg in their first Champions League group stage outing and the Coach has found himself under pressure amid a slow start to the season.

Nuno names Negredo as Valencia’s lone striker with Pablo Piatti and Sofiane Feghouli offering support.

Dani Parejo captains the side from midfield, along with Enzo Perez and the experienced Javi Fuego, and Joao Cancelo, Shkodran Mustafi, Aymen Abdennour and Lucas Orban make up the defence in front of goalkeeper Jaume Domenech.

The hosts have a familiar face in former Malaga midfielder Sergi Darder, who was tempted to France in the summer, and also name France internationals Mathieu Valbuena, Maxime Gonalons and Alexandre Lacazette.

Lyon: Lopes, Jallet, Bisevac, Morel, Um, Darder, Gonalons, Tolisso, Valbuena, Kalulu, Lacazette

Subs: Gorgelin, Ghezzal, Ferri, Malbranque, Mvuemba, Beauvue, Cornet

Valencia: Domenech; Cancelo, Mustafi, Abdennour, Orban; Parejo, Fuego, Perez; Piatti, Feghouli; Negredo

Subs: Yoel, Vezo, Barragan, Danilo, Paco Alcacer, Rodrigo, Santi Mina

Referee: Mazic [SRB]
