AS reports the presence of Xu Jiayin at Santiago Bernabeu has received wide coverage in China, with daily reports of his interactions with President Florentino Perez.
The Chinese Press has even gone so far as to report that Carvajal will be loaned to Guangzhou and China international Zhang Linpeng will move in the other direction.
Xu is the owner of Guangzhou Evergrande, who have a football school in China affiliated with Madrid, while he is also the majority shareholder of Evergrande Real Estate and, according to Forbes, one of the richest men in the country.
