Madrid reject €150m Ronaldo bid?

Real Madrid are understood to have rejected a €150m bid from Paris Saint-Germain for Cristiano Ronaldo on transfer-deadline day.

According to Globo Esporte, PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi approached Madrid with the blockbuster offer on August 31 but was quickly knocked back by Los Blancos.

Both clubs have yet to comment on the speculation, in the vein that the French giants quickly refuted reports of a €120m bid in July.

In England, meanwhile, the Daily Mirror reports Manchester United are still interested in pushing through the forward's return for next season.

However, this would cast doubt on similar rumours linking Ronaldo with the United States when his Madrid contract expires in 2018.
