Navas pleased to see Sevilla in CL

Jesus Navas has welcomed the chance to return to Sevilla when Los Rojiblancos meet Manchester City in the Champions League group stages.

City and Sevilla were drawn with Juventus and Borussia Monchengladbach in Group D of the competition, with the Premier League club set to visit Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on November 3.

“We have a very tough group and we will have to have a lot of energy. The three rivals are very hard and difficult,” Navas told the Europa League winners’ official site.

“There’ll be an amazing atmosphere in the stands. Sevilla is an extremely difficult place to go. The fans mean you have to strive doubly hard to get a positive result at the Pizjuan.

“What pleases me, above all, is that Sevilla is part of Europe’s elite. That’s what playing in the Champions League means.

“No doubt I’ll be very happy to return to Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. I was born there and grew as a player there. It will always be special to me.”
