Official: Mastour joins Malaga

Malaga have completed the signing of wonderkid Hachim Mastour from Milan on a two-year loan.

The 17-year-old is believed to be a personal request of President Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Thani, while reports in Spain claim the Andalucians have retained a €5m purchase option at the end of the arrangement.

Mastour joined Milan in the summer of 2012 as a 14-year-old but failed to break into the first team, despite his precocious talent.

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain had been linked with his services, but it is Malaga who have won the race for his signature.

Although born in Italy, he became Morocco's youngest-ever international at 16 years and 363 days when he replaced Nordin Amrabat during a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya in June.
