Real Madrid have confirmed the signing of Croatia international Mateo Kovacic from Inter on a six-year contract.
The club’s official website doesn’t announce a fee but earlier reports put the cost of the signing at €30m, with Kovacic receiving €3m-a-year.
Kovacic began his career with Dinamo Zagreb, moving to San Siro in 2013. He played 97 times for Inter, scoring eight goals, before making the switch to Madrid.
Madrid also confirmed Kovacic will be presented at Santiago Bernabeu tomorrow following his medical.
