Denis Cheryshev and his agent have met with Real Madrid to determine the winger’s future at the club as Villarreal wait for developments.
AS reports the Yellow Submarine would happily take the Russian back for another year if it’s decided he’ll remain on the fringes in the capital.
Cheryshev has on Monday spoken with Madrid about his position in the squad, and if he will receive enough playing time to justify staying at Santiago Bernabeu.
Marcelino has however expressed a desire to re-sign Cheryshev after a successful loan spell last season.
