Atletico Madrid are being linked with a move for Lorient’s Raphael Guerreiro as they look to replace the Juventus-bound Guilherme Siqueira.
AS cite reports from France that say Portugal international Guerreiro has been identified by Atleti, who view him as a left-back, despite playing further forward last season and scoring seven goals.
Paris Saint-Germain are also thought to be interested in the 21-year-old and have almost agreed the sale of Lucas Digne to Roma, creating a gap in their squad.
Guerreiro was born in France, near Paris, and it’s believed he would like the chance to play in the capital, near his home town.
Le Parisien claim Atleti have made a €7m approach to Lorient for Guerreiro, who have said he isn’t for sale, but may change their minds with a bid closer to €10m.
