Rayo Vallecano have confirmed the signing of winger Patrick Ebert from Spartak Moscow on a two-year contract.
The 28-year-old arrives at Vallecas with La Liga experience to boot, having scored nine goals and laid off 12 assists in 38 appearances for Real Valladolid between 2012 and 2014.
However, an unsavoury contract dispute saw him leave the club in February of last year and subsequently join Spartak, where he played just 25 times.
Ebert becomes Rayo’s sixth summer signing, following Ousseynou Cisse from Dijon, Jose Antonio Dorado from Villarreal, Bebe from Benfica, Chengdong Zhang from Beijing Guoan and Diego Llorente from Real Madrid.
