Guangzhou R&F have sacked Cosmin Contra as Coach six months after paying to get the trainer out of his Getafe contract.
AS reports the Chinese club made the decision as a result of poor performances under Contra’s guidance, and he has been replaced by his assistant, Li Bing.
Guangzhou dropped to 11th and recorded only one win in 13 games, having been among the title favourites at the start of the season.
The club also struggled in the Asian Champions League, bowing out of the competition at the group stage.
