Javier Hernandez has paid tribute to former Real Madrid teammate Iker Casillas, describing him as Los Blancos’ best ever goalkeeper.
The Mexican forward spent last season on loan at Santiago Bernabeu, a campaign which also turned out to be Casillas’ last in a 25-year association with the club.
“A privilege to be able to say I was a teammate to the best goalkeeper in the history of Real Madrid, Casillas,” Hernandez wrote on his official Twitter account.
“Good luck and I wish you a lot of success!”
Casillas has left his boyhood club to join Porto, while Hernandez has returned to parent club Manchester United.
