Iker Casillas has reportedly reached an agreement with Real Madrid over financial compensation and could complete his transfer to Porto by the end of the day.
According to Onda Cero, the goalkeeper and Madrid have finally found common ground on a settlement regarding the remainder of his two-year, €15.5m salary with the Portuguese giants.
The disagreement is believed to have centred on taxation after Casillas reportedly demanded Los Blancos to foot the rest of the bill in gross, rather than net, with Porto only willing to contribute €10m.
Consequently, the 34-year-old will no longer depart for Australia with the rest of his Madrid teammates on Sunday and instead bid farewell to them at an imminent Press conference.
