Newly-promoted Real Betis have confirmed the signing of Didier Digard from French outfit Nice.
The 28-year-old arrives at Estadio Benito Villamarin on a free transfer after his contract at his previous club expired. He has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Andalusians.
The defensive midfielder, capped at U21 level, has also had spells at Le Havre, Paris St Germain and Middlesbrough.
“I am very happy,” Digard told Betis’ official website. “I am coming to a club that looks after its players very well.
“I hope to bring balance to the centre of the pitch and the transition between defence and attack.”
