Valencia have completed the signing of former PSV attacker Zakaria Bakkali on a free transfer.
The Belgian landed in Valencia on Sunday night and passed a medical the following day, and Los Che have since announced that the player has signed a five-year contract.
The 19-year-old rose to prominence in 2013-14 when he became the Eredivisie’s youngest hat-trick hero, aged just 17 years and 196 days.
However, his refusal to sign a new contract, coupled with a troublesome groin injury, saw him rarely feature last season as PSV ended Ajax’s domestic dominance.
He is now due to travel to Austria in the coming hours and join the rest of his new teammates on their pre-season tour.
