Martin Montoya’s move from Barcelona to Inter will reportedly be announced on Friday evening.
The right-back is set to join the Nerazzurri on a two-year loan with the option of an €8m permanent deal at its conclusion.
Montoya struggled to grab his first-team opportunities in Dani Alves’ absence last season and has since fallen behind new recruit Aleix Vidal in the pecking order.
According to Marca, the 24-year-old has been intent on sealing a move away since last January, but Luis Enrique was unwilling to grant his wishes until Alves’ new contract was agreed and a replacement was found.
