Real Sociedad hope to sign Porto’s Mexico international Diego Reyes on a season-long loan but face competition from across Europe.
AS cite reports from the Basque Country that say La Real are keen on Reyes, who Porto are willing to let go in order to get regular playing time.
But PSV Eindhoven are named as among the defender’s suitors, while AS mention there are other clubs monitoring the situation as well.
Mexico’s involvement in the Gold Cup means there is unlikely to be a resolution to the situation any time soon.
La Real have though made contact with Porto about Reyes to register their interest and it’s suggested the Anoeta hierarchy as a good relationship with the Portuguese club’s Spanish Coach, Julen Lopetegui, which could be a factor.
