Chelsea & Atletico to deal again?

Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are again speaking about transfers, with Arda Turan, Filipe Luis and Toby Alderweireld all on the agenda.

A year ago the Blues signed not only Filipe but Diego Costa from Vicente Calderon, and recalled Thibaut Courtois from a three-year loan spell.

The return of Filipe is said by AS to be Atletico’s next objective after tying up Porto’s Jackson Martinez and Jose Mourinho will let the left-back go, although only once Augsburg’s Baba Rahman is secured as a replacement.

Mourinho may also have to explain to his boss, owner Roman Abramovich, why a player the club paid €20m for a year ago is being allowed to leave so soon.

Filipe could also pass Turan on his way to Madrid after the Turkey international’s agent confirmed the midfielder wanted a Premier League move.

Mourinho is aware of Turan and believes he would improve his Chelsea squad, although there is competition from Manchester City, and possibly Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool.

It has also been said in Italy that Chelsea are ready to make a big-money cash plus a player offer for Antoine Griezmann.
