Reports say that Barcelona want to bring Denis Suarez back from his loan at Sevilla early to reinforce their midfield.
The 21-year-old was a regular in Unai Emery’s side this season and could be brought in to bulk up the squad with Xavi Hernandez departing and a transfer embargo imposed, meaning first choice signing Paul Pogba and back-up option Marco Verratti couldn’t play until January.
Mundo Deportivo reports that the Catalan club could call off Suarez’s agreed two-year loan halfway through, as Coach Luis Enrique has requested him.
The outlet points out that Barca must convince Sevilla to allow them to recall the player and cannot do so without their permission, given the agreement was until 2016.
La Blaugrana are reportedly considering offering Barcelona B starlet Alen Halilovic to the Andalucian club in order to convince them to accept the early cancellation of Suarez’s loan.
