Rivaldo has paid tribute to his former Barcelona teammate Luis Enrique for leading the club to a clean sweep of trophies last season.
The Brazilian played alongside the incumbent Coach between 1997 and 2002, winning two La Liga titles and a Copa del Rey along the way.
“I would like to congratulate you, Luis Enrique, for all that you’ve done for Barcelona this season,” he captioned under a photo of the pair on Instagram.
“The beginning was difficult but you, as always, very determined in your work, managed to overcome all your obstacles.
“You deserve all the good things happening to you for being the wonderful person you always were. May God continue to bless you and your family.
“One of these days, I’m going to Barcelona to give you a hug.”
