Real Madrid could send Martin Odegaard on a season-long loan to Scottish champions Celtic.
Celtic manager Ronny Delia worked with the teenager at Stromgodset and AS reports the Glasgow club is considered a good place for Odegaard to gain experience, particularly as Celtic are in the Champions League.
Odegaard will go with Madrid on tour to China and Australia but will spend the season elsewhere as it’s felt playing in Segunda B will do little for his development.
There is interest in the 16-year-old from Spain, with Malaga, Villarreal and Real Betis mentioned by name, but the relationship between Delia and Odegaard and his family could prove pivotal.
Delia reportedly advised Odegaard to accept Madrid’s offer when faced with a number of suitors.
