Marseille midfielder Gianni Imbula is under consideration by Valencia, reports claim, as Los Che look to bolster their squad for the Champions League.
Super Deporte say that the club had been focused on signing a striker but a move for Imbula is possible too as Valencia haven’t yet decided on all the positions they need to add.
Reports in France have previously alleged Imbula’s father has met with sporting director Rufete, but Valencia could face competition from Chelsea and Inter.
Nothing is expected to happen imminently, however, as Nuno Santo is on a short holiday, Rufete is completing a task related to the academy, and Amadeo Salvo has only just returned from the United States.
