‘Valencia haven’t forgotten Falcao’

Valencia maintain their interest in Radamel Falcao, reports say, as he is a ‘dream’ of owner Peter Lim.

Super Deporte say that Lim’s objective was to fashion a Valencia team capable of competing in the Champions League and it is a ‘dream’ to have former Atletico Madrid striker Falcao on that team.

The Colombia international spent the season on loan at Manchester United from Monaco but struggled in the Premier League, scoring only four goals, perhaps as a consequence of the serious knee injury suffered a year ago.

Falcao is expected to be placed on the market again this summer and it may be good timing as Lim looks for new faces to bring to Mestalla.

It’s acknowledged that Valencia may not be able to make the numbers work but Monaco have confirmed they will let Falcao go, leading Super Deporte to suggest Lim and agent Falcao’s Jorge Mendes will work to find a solution.
