Gerard Deulofeu has admitted that the past season with Sevilla was “difficult” for him but is hoping to build on his experiences.
The Barcelona forward arrived at the Sanchez Pizjuan on a year-long loan last August with high expectations after an eye-catching spell at Premier League club Everton but scored just three goals in 28 appearances.
“The 14-15 campaign is over. It’s been a hard and difficult year for me, but perhaps the year that I learned the most,” the 21-year-old wrote on Instagram.
“We still have the Europa League final left and we’ll go for it! Thanks for all the support and, above all, thanks to the fans who have been by my side.”
