Arsenal are being strongly linked with a cut-price deal that would bring Barcelona winger Pedro Rodriguez to the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Gunners’ boss Arsene Wenger is seeking to strengthen his attacking options before the start of next season and could sign the 27-year-old for as little as €14m, according to The Metro.
Spain international Pedro has fallen down the pecking order in Luis Enrique’s team this term, particularly with Luis Suarez in such fine form for the past few months, and the Catalans are now considering lowering the asking price for a player who joined the club’s youth team aged 17.
The previous price for Tenerife-born Pedro was understood to be around the €25m mark and any reduction in that figure could see a bidding war between a number of clubs, with Manchester City also reportedly monitoring the situation.
Pedro has made 34 La Liga appearances for the Blaugrana this season but has started just 14 times, scoring six goals.
