Real Sociedad goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli pointed to Barcelona’s first goal as the defining moment of the 2-0 defeat.
Neymar netted not long into the second half to put La Blaugrana in front, with a spectacular Pedro Rodriguez overhead kick sealing the points in the final minutes.
“We did things well in the first half,” Rulli said, AS reports.
“After the goal the game became very difficult because the effort of running against players like this is so huge.
“In the first half we reached their penalty area with clarity and in a good way. We had chances and good positions. They looked uncomfortable.
“It’s a pity that in the second half we made a mistake and paid for it expensively.
“I thought the corner was going out but Neymar was alive. It’s to his credit.”
