Sergi Barjuan has described Almeria’s La Liga encounter with Celta Vigo on Monday as “the Clash of Titans”.
The former Barcelona and Spain defender has led the Andalucians out of the relegation zone thanks to a run of two wins in five matches since taking over at the beginning of April, and he is confident that his side will continue their mini-renaissance against Os Celestes.
“It’ll be a Clash of Titans, so we must be very prepared, both mentally and physically,” he said at a Press conference.
“Celta play a very physical game, mark man to man, have some very good individuals and are in a positive dynamic.
“I think that since we’re playing games with maximum intensity and commitment because we know the importance of each match, we’ll face Celta in the same way.
“We can play better or worse, win or lose, but the players know what they have to do and believe in what we’re trying to do.”
