‘Getafe played well…’

Getafe Coach Pablo Franco believed his side played well against Barcelona even though they shipped six goals.

Barca scored five in the first 45 minutes for a comfortable victory but after the match, Franco wasn’t too hard on his team.

“We played a decent game despite the outcome. Our opponents’ level of accuracy was amazing, they made great decisions,” he lamented, AS reports.

“We had enough chances, especially in the early minutes, and could have equalised. Despite the outcome we never gave up.

“We have a defeat here but that doesn’t mean we don’t take any positives. They’re a great team, but so are Real Madrid. Either one could be champions.

“Which goal did I like best? None of them.

“I told the players at half time it was important to remain competitive and in the second half we had to correct some details to improve.
