Monaco central midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia is reportedly interesting a number of La Liga clubs ahead of this summer’s transfer market.
According to prestigious French daily L’Equipe, the 22-year-old’s situation with the Ligue 1 outfit is being monitored by Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Valencia.
It is understood that Real Madrid have entered the race for the French international’s signature after encountering difficulties in their attempts to bring Paul Pogba from Juventus to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Kondogbia is no stranger to La Liga, having joined Monaco from Sevilla in July 2013 for a reported €20m, and is understood to be open to a return to Spain.
Even so, Monaco are not prepared to let the player depart the Stade Louis II without making a profit on him, despite his relatively poor season in the Principality this term.
The Spanish clubs are not the only ones wishing to secure his services, however, with Arsenal and Liverpool also rumoured to be interested.
