Zinedine Zidane says he is hoping Paris Saint-Germain manage to overcome Barcelona when the sides clash in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The French outfit are bidding to overturn a 3-1 first-leg deficit in their quarter-final encounter at the Camp Nou and Real Madrid legend Zidane, currently Coach of the club’s reserve side Castilla, sent a message of support to his countrymen.

“It will be very difficult for PSG to score three goals against Barcelona but they are capable of doing it,” remarked Zidane at an event in Saint Etienne ahead of the charity game Match Against Poverty.

“They have a lot of quality players in their team and have got back two of their most effective ones, so in one match anything is possible.

“It will be the toughest of challenges but hopefully they will be able to pull it off,” he declared.
