Madrid back in for Reus?

Real Madrid could resurrect their interest in Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus, reports claim, as the German club undergoes a transition.

Jurgen Klopp has announced he is to step down as Coach at the end of the season, with Thomas Tuchel replacing him.

The upheaval could lead to players coming and going, AS suggests, and financial reasons could also be a factor as Dortmund may need the €30m Madrid are said to be willing to offer for Reus.

Reus signed a new contract at Dortmund in February, one that runs until 2019, but the change of trainer could see him want to move on.

Madrid already have an important relationship in the deal as Reus has the same agent as Toni Kroos.

Klopp meanwhile acknowledged in an interview last week that ordinarily Dortmund would already have sold Reus as, financially, they can’t turn down the kind of fee he would command.
