Andres Iniesta is believed to have avoided a serious injury despite being stretchered off in Barcelona’s Champions League win over Paris Saint-Germain.
La Blaugrana took a 3-1 victory from the first leg in Paris but Iniesta’s game ended before the hour mark, when a knee to the back from Javier Pastore meant he had to be replaced by Xavi Hernandez.
The full extent of the problem isn’t yet known but Mundo Deportivo reports it’s not thought to be anything serious, with Luis Enrique confirming as much.
“Andres took a very strong blow,” Enrique said.
“The doctors haven’t explored, that’ll be [Thursday], but it didn’t seem like anything serious, which is good news.”
