Oliver Torres will return to Atletico Madrid next season after proving Diego Simeone of his worth at Porto.
The 20-year-old joined the Portuguese giants on a year-long loan last summer and has gone on to play a starring role under compatriot Julen Lopetegui, scoring six goals and laying off as many assists in 30 appearances.
As a result of his fine performances, which have helped Porto reach the Champions League quarter-finals, AS are reporting that Cholo will recall the midfielder to compete with the likes of Koke and Arda Turan in 2015-16.
Oliver's departure will be viewed as a significant loss by the Dragoes as they were hopeful of extending the starlet's loan beyond the summer.
