Manchester City are reportedly involved in negotiations to bring Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti to the Etihad Stadium, according to Sky Sport Italia.
It is suggested that the Italian is mulling over the proposal from the Premier League outfit after recently suffering criticism from fans at the Santiago Bernabeu, despite having won the Champions League last season.
Ancelotti is no stranger to English football, having picked up the Premier League title, FA Cup and Community Shield while with Chelsea in the 2009-10 season, although City are more impressed by his record in Europe.
The club’s Abu Dhabi owners are desperate to get their hands on the Champions League trophy and see Ancelotti’s experience in a competition he has won three times as pivotal to their ambitions.
