Eibar boss Gaizka Garitano felt the scoreless draw with Granada this weekend was the perfect boost for his players’ morale.
The Basques have been in freefall since the turn of the year and Garitano was pleased to see his team take a valuable away point from Los Carmenes.
“Granada had most of the game but didn’t create many chances,” he told a Press conference.
“We had a lot of injuries going into the game but always intended winning, although we didn’t have many attacking options and had to be content with the draw.
“We were on an equal footing with them for 80 minutes and I can’t recall one real clear-cut chance for them the whole game.
“I thought a draw was fair and I’m glad to have finally moved off 27 points, so it’s given us a boost and is good for morale.”
