It appears formed Leganes boss Asier Garitano is the man Real Sociedad have settled on to sit on the bench next season.
Reports in Spain suggest Garitano is very highly regarded among the hierarchy at Anoeta and he would more than likely take his trusted assistant Jaime Perez with him.
Unai Emery and Javi Gracia have also been linked with the role, although the former would like a club who are competing in Europe, while the latter is expected to remain at Watford as he is planning to move his family to England and is thought to be house hunting.
“I have chosen to finish my time at Leganes and from here we’ll see what happens. If you are asking about La Real, then we are talking about a great team,” Garitano was quoted as saying last weekend.
