Neymar: MSN better than BBC

Neymar believes Barcelona’s attacking trident of himself, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi is superior to Real Madrid’s equivalent.

The Catalans’ star-studded trio, affectionately known as the ‘MSN’, have enjoyed a statistically-better 2015 than Los Blancos’ ‘BBC’ of Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo, and the Brazilian admitted his side had the edge on their arch-rivals.

“I don’t know if [Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and I] are the best trio, but we try to do some damage to our opponents,” he said at a promotional event on Wednesday.

“Each time we play together, we get to understand each other better. Suarez and Messi are two players whom you don’t need to speak with.

“Messi is the best [player] in the world and Suarez is also the best. It’s a pleasure to play alongside them.

“I think [the MSN are better than the BBC], but I prefer not to discuss our rivals.

“[The Clasico] will be very important. We approach it as a final. We have a very good team and are only thinking about a victory.

“The prospect of leading Madrid by four points? We have to follow our own path. Much of the season remains.

“The team are fine, our game is improving constantly and we’re [feeling] strong.

“We’ve trained very hard, our relationship in the dressing room and on the pitch helps. The atmosphere is spectacular.

“We can repeat the treble of 2009. We have the team to realise all the club’s dreams. I want all three titles, I don’t [want to win] any in particular.”
