Alves agrees PSG move?

Radio Marca is reporting that Dani Alves has agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain on a Bosman free transfer in the summer.

The right-back is out of contract at the end of the season and has still not been offered fresh terms by La Blaugrana, a likely sign that the club do not intend to keep him on.

Consequently, the source claims the Brazilian has shaken hands with the Ligue 1 champions on a three-year deal worth €9m per annum.

Barca Coach Luis Enrique reportedly gave Alves two days off after the 6-1 demolition of Rayo Vallecano last weekend to conclude his negotiations with PSG.

Alves arrived at Camp Nou in the summer of 2008 from Sevilla as one of Pep Guardiola’s first signings and played a key role in the club’s successes under the former Spain midfielder.

However, his future with Barca has become increasingly uncertain in recent times, with agent Dinorah Santa Ana accusing the Catalans of undermining her ex-husband.

Alves, 31, will reacquaint himself with fellow Samba stars David Luiz, Marquinhos, Maxwell and Thiago Silva in the French capital if there is gravitas to the speculation.
