Lionel Messi had some house guests over the weekend – Manchester City's Sergio Aguero and Pablo Zabaleta, nine days before their Champions League meeting.
Mundo Deportivo reports that Aguero and Zabaleta and their partners spent the weekend in Catalonia, where Zabaleta used to play, for Espanyol.
Barca and City face off in Europe on February 24, the first leg taking place at City’s Etihad Stadium.
Both City players are back in training on Monday after being given a few days off by Manuel Pellegrini, the Premier League side not in action this weekend after they were knocked out of the FA Cup.
The friendship between the trio is well-known, with it even having been alleged Messi at one point requested the signing of Aguero as a condition of him staying at Barca.
