It’s been claimed that Ivan Rakitic was given the chance to leave Barcelona in January but turned down two proposals from the Premier League.
Mundo Deportivo reports Rakitic was approached by Arsenal and Manchester City ahead of the winter transfer window at a time when he appeared to have lost the faith of Luis Enrique.
The clubs were ready to give Rakitic a way out of Camp Nou but he rejected both clubs as he wanted to remain at Barca and regain his place in the side.
