Iniesta expects tough return leg

Andres Iniesta doesn’t believe Barcelona will have it easy when they go to Villarreal in the Copa del Rey semi-final second-leg.

Barca hold a 3-1 lead from Wednesday night’s first-leg but the midfielder, who scored his side’s second goal of the game, is ready for a hard slog at El Madrigal.

“We’ve met the first objective, which was to win and put the tie in our favour,” he said, Sport reports.

“It’s a pity about the goal we conceded. Now we go there but it won’t be easy. Villarreal’s pitch is always uncomfortable and intense and we expect a tough match.

“I’m very confident we’re in great form and we have to continue to grow. We’re excited for the Cup. There are a lot of rounds and a lot of work.

“We dream of all trophies. Hopefully we can take this last step and then we would have a final.

“This is a time to grow. Go game by game, play in the League on Sunday and then take a week to rest. We’re looking at what we’re going to overcome next.”
