Real Sociedad midfielder Esteban Granero has claimed that there are many similarities between the coaching methods of David Moyes and Jose Mourinho.
The 27-year-old possesses experience of playing under both trainers, having been coached by the Portuguese at Real Madrid between 2010 and 2012, and he believes they have plenty in common.
“Each Coach has their own characteristics and working methods, but Moyes and Mourinho are very similar in their ideas, professionalism and desire to revolve everything around the players,” he explained to ESPN.
“Mourinho made Real Madrid a top team again. I learned a lot from him and he improved me as a player.
“The truth is that my best memories are from those days. He made Real Madrid the best team in Europe.”
