Sevilla boss Unai Emery has been named La Liga’s Coach of the month for January by the LFP.
The Basque trainer led the Andalucians to four straight League wins against Celta Vigo, Almeria, Malaga and Espanyol last month, with only Valencia getting the better of them.
Emery’s good work has seen Sevilla firmly establish themselves in the mix for Champions League qualification, despite numerous injuries and last week’s Copa del Rey elimination.
They are also still in with a shout of defending the Europa League after reaching the competition’s knockout stages in December.
