Rene Krhin is thrilled to have joined Cordoba and believes he will have more fun playing in La Liga than Serie A.
The Inter midfielder will spend the rest of the season on loan at Nuevo Arcangel, and he is relishing the prospect of making a name for himself in Spanish football.
“I’m very happy to be here. I’m very happy to arrive in La Liga,” he was quoted as saying by AS.
“It’s different from Serie A in that everyone tries to play attractive football and wants to touch the ball. I like that.
“My favourite position is the one I played at Bologna, just in front of the defence, but I’ve also played inside left and as a No 8.
“If I have to define myself, I’d say I’m more of a defensive midfielder.
“I’ve always given my best at Inter, I’ve always trained hard to be ready and I wasn’t a starter, but it’s true that I’m excited about getting match fitness and feeling part of the team.
“The players here are high quality and know how to play the ball well, but I’m not worried because I’ve come to help Cordoba.
“The important thing is the team, and I’ll try to help the team to fulfil their targets.”
