Dani Alves’ agent has confirmed there have been offers for the Barcelona defender as his future hangs in the balance.
Dinorah Santana, who is the player’s former wife and also acts as his representative, has hinted at a possible departure from the Camp Nou with the Brazilian international being out of contract at the end of the season.
“He will give his all while he is here, that’s all I can say,” Santana was quoted as saying by AS.
“We’d like to stay but we’ll have to see. He may renew but if he needs to move on he will do.
“Sometimes things come to an end and there has been interest from other clubs.”
Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu was non-committal regarding Alves’ future after Sunday’s game with Villarreal.
“There are certain issues we won’t discuss right now as they are not urgent. We are still not planning next season and are only at the beginning of February, so we are concentrating on the current campaign.
“We’ll start looking at other things around March,” he commented.
