Carlo named IFFHS Coach of the Year

Carlo Ancelotti has been named 2014 Coach of the Year in a ranking compiled by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS).

The Real Madrid boss was selected ahead of Atletico Madrid’s Diego Simeone, Pep Guardiola of Bayern Munich and Chelsea supremo Jose Mourinho.

It is not the first time Ancelotti has picked up the accolade, having won it during his time as Head Coach at Milan back in 2007.

The Italian came top with 169 points, ahead of Simeone on 139, Guardiola 76 and Mourinho 15.
