Midfielder Xavi Hernandez has been included in the Barcelona squad for Wednesday’s Copa del Rey clash with Atletico Madrid at the Camp Nou.
The Spain international is the only significant change to the team that beat Deportivo la Coruna 4-0 at Riazor last weekend, while Martin Montoya is left out for technical reasons.
Goalkeeper Claudio Bravo is also omitted as boss Luis Enrique keeps faith with Jordi Masip for the Cup competitions, the youngster expected to start on the bench with Marc-Andre ter Stegen between the sticks.
The 18-man squad for Atleti’s visit is:
Goalkeepers: Ter Stegen and Masip.
Defenders: Alves, Pique, Mascherano, Bartra, Jordi Alba and Adriano.
Midfielders: Busquets, Xavi, Rakitic, Iniesta, Rafinha and Sergi Roberto.
Strikers: Pedro, Neymar, Suarez and Messi.
