CR7: ‘I could play in Brazil’

Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted that he could wind down his football career by moving to Brazil sometime in the future.

The three-time Ballon d'Or winner has spoken of his desire to play in South America and did not rule out the possibility of ending up there one day.

“Corinthians and Flamengo are two famous clubs and I would gladly wear one of their shirts,

“I have many friends in Brazil so my relationship with the country is very good.

“At Real Madrid I’ve come across many Brazilians and Kaka is one of the people I respect most of all,” he is quoted as saying by Metro.

The 29-year-old’s alleged comments will be a blow to Manchester United, who still harbour hopes of bringing the one-time Old Trafford favourite back to the club.
