Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez says if could choose players to sign for the Catalans then it would be David Silva and Santi Cazorla.
Speaking at a promotional even for Dentix, the Spain international gave his verdict on who he felt would improve Luis Enrique’s side if it was down to him.
“There is some great Spanish football talent around. Who would I sign for Barcelona? Silva and Cazorla,” conceded Xavi, who also discussed teammate Lionel Messi and the coaches he has played under during his illustrious career.
“Those who look to associate themselves with Leo for their own personal gain are not wanted in football.
“As for coaches, I‘ve learned from every one of them I’ve worked with, but if I had to name one of the best then it would have to be Luis Aragones.”
