Carlo Ancelotti has given his verdict on 2014 and declared it to have been a fantastic year for Real Madrid.
“It’s been a fantastic year, one where we have achieved big things through a great deal of effort and hard work,” the Italian boss told the club’s official website.
“That only increases our desire ahead of next year and 2014 could be the beginning of an important era in the club’s future.
“I was happy after we won ‘La Decima’ as it was the culmination of hard work from everyone, while it was a source of motivation for the whole Real Madrid community.
“We managed to make everyone’s dream come true. I’d give the team a very high mark because it was the ultimate achievement.
“If I had one message for the fans then it would be to get behind us with all the love and affection that this team deserves,” he concluded.
